50 an hour The Pultrusion Line Support Operator performs duties related to keeping the pultrusion machine running, such as maintaining glass racks, inspection, packaging/palletizing product, etc.
We are hiring for the following:
1st Shift:
Monday - Friday, 7:
00am - 3:
30pm 3rd Shift:
Monday - Friday, 11:
00pm - 7:
30am (+$1.
75/hr shift premium) Days:
Monday - Thursday, 6:
00am - 6:
15pm Duties and
Responsibilities:
Assist in maintaining glass-racks and ensuring fiberglass flow.
Inspect and continuously monitor the quality of the product coming off the machine for any quality flaws, notify the shift-leader if any problems are noted.
Monitor machine performance, notifying line supervisor immediately if problems occur.
Prepare product for shipping and/or secondary operations.
This may include pointing, packaging, palletizing, etc.
Clean the work area and maintain an orderly work zone.
Assist with general clean-up of the department work area, putting materials away, etc.
Perform other duties as required or directed, including work assignments in other areas or departments.
Work extra hours or overtime as required.
Job Requirements:
Ability to lift 50 # on a regular basis Demonstrated ability to follow directions consistently and complete work in a productive and timely manner High attention to details, quality, productivity, and safety are required Ability to accurately count and accurately record (by writing) in production documents Good interpersonal skills, teamwork focus, and reliable attendance are essential Must be able to stand for up to 12 hours Good manual dexterity and ability to accurately read a tape measure is required Must be able to work productively with minimal supervision after the job and procedures are known Mechanical aptitude is preferred High school diploma or equivalent preferred Who We Are For over 30 years, GEOTEK has been internationally recognized for industry leading composite technologies, engineering, and service.
